Fixed 400

A few of us at Vancouver Fixed gear love riding Ultra-Endurance cycling events. Unfortunately there aren't many fixie ultras out there, We hope to help change that.

This ultra-distance road ride challenges riders to tackle 400 miles in less than 40 hours.

A self-supported ride where resupply is plentiful and rules are few. Drafting and private services are allowed but leave your free hub at home—this one is for fixed gear bicycles only.

Riders will depart from Portland's Holladay Park just after sunrise. Making use of the maximum amount of daylight, going north will be treated to views of Mt. Hood, Helens and Rainer. 200 miles ahead lies the iconic Seattle Space Needle—the turn around point for this out and back. Speed and dedication will be key to tackle the final 200 miles before the 10pm Sunday cutoff.

2024 marks the third year of the Fixed 400 and 2023 saw it's first sub24hr finish.
